The merciless blade of Judgment's reaper slashes through the air, eager for the time when it claims my life.

With little time left to spare, with few choices to make, I would need to choose.

Or feel the cold sharp blade of the guillotine biting into my neck.

Hey hey...just for you guys to know that I'm still here and not MIA or something. Pretty much just lazing around during my period of abcence...nothing to do but to surf the net and log in some good old DotA time i guess. Feeling kinda bored with too much time in my hands, which is why I decided to put up yet another random post on my blog.

Did this one for my GEMs assignment. First time using my own drawings for coloring and editing...or rather, my first time attempting to even colour a picture. ==" Not very confident about this one, seeing that I rushed abit on this assignment. Heck. Dont really give a damn anyway. I'm no art student, so I guess this'll do. Lol

Whoo~ 6.60 is finally out at long last! *LONG LIVE ICEFROG!*
Argh...cant sleep for some reason, so I decided to go ahead and post something up here. Then again, I dont have stuff to talk about. ._."
Departing Singapore for Malaysia in around 7 hrs. And...oh ya, I HAVENT PACKED MY BAG FOR THE TRIP YET! Ah...heck, I'll get it done later...
Will be back by Monday or so I think. Purpose of this trip? Dont have one. Just eat, sleep and be merry I guess. Lol, that is, if I could get merry in my bored static state. Whatever.

So here I am, stuck with 5 upcoming test cum exams, topped off and complete with me not knowing a damn thing about any of the modules I'm taking. =.= Throw in a four day first aid course in my already precious 3 week hols, and I'm almost certified dead and ready for the grave and tombstone combo. The silver lining of this disaster? An upcoming holiday trip to Malaysia, which serves to destress myself from the challange ahead. Not that I have any stress in the first place though...but, hey, it's all good. Lol

Attended my cousin's wedding a few days back. FINALLY CAN DO YAM SENG WITH ALCOHOL. =.= Sheesh...lame I know, but its still a perk for me at least. The downside? Deciding who's the unlucky one among ourselves to drive back home, seeing that we are past the blood/alcohol limit. That took awhile to sort out, but my mum's the one who got arrowed out in the end. Hard to get even remotely high on red wine though, and I gave up halfway trying. ._."

Holidays are over; school's setting in once again after...almost two months? lol. Cant realli say I totally look forward to the school's reopening, not only am I just lying to myself, but I would go against all the rules of being a student by doing so. =P

My class schedule for this year isnt exactly what I hoped, but it can do I guess (NO WORKSHOP! ^^) Didnt got in the first GEMs module of my choice (some etiquette thingy), but at least managed to worm my way into my second (cartoon animation design I think). Most depressing thing for my second year would be the fact that most of my friends from year one isnt going to the same class as me. =(

Well...might be a good chance to know more people i guess. (at least, that's what I hoped. haha)

My Final Theory Test's starting two days from now...so I'm pretty nervous, although that might be due to me not studying. lol.

Done up this drawing at Tampanies Library when I'm thinking of ideas for the logo competition thing. I was just doodling till I realized what I was drawing. Guess the logo have to wait till next time then...

Visited PRSS again today because of some sudden impulse that I had after I applied for my GEMs module (and didnt get into my initial course that I wanted; settled for the cartoon design thing that looked decently interesting, although I wouldn't know I would be up for it). Managed to get Justin to follow me too, as he said he had nothing better to do at home (well, according to him anyway =X).
As luck would have it, there was some kind of carnival thingy is going on after school today (we were completely oblivious to it until Ms Chia enlightened us of that fact) that is being held by the sec 4s to make up for CIP this year. Theme of the carnival? ASEAN countries, although I counted only 7 (out of the total...13?). Lol...it went pretty much okay i guess. Met Joan and Thye Whye there too. Hung out (aka loitered aimlessly) there till around...5.30pm before calling it a day and headed for home.

Clutch, gear, fuel, release clutch, clutch, gear, fuel, release clutch....DRIVING IS HARD! As in, really, really hard (as far as pratical skills are concerned anyway lol). I mean...just starting the car and moving off involves, like, more then 10 steps? ==" Had my first ever driving lesson yesterday...its pretty fun though. The feeling of you being in control, not just seating there looking blankly at the windscreen, the roar of the engines when you pressed too hard on the accelerater/fuel pedal (my instructor almost killed me when I did that though =x)...I just cant seem to express my emotions the moment I actually drove.
My point? Driving is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, no matter how hard it seem at first. Err...I hope the 'at first' part is really true though. lol

Thinking of giving up drawing...my passion for it seem to be fading. Pictures dont form in my head anymore, let alone on paper. The door that leads to the road of design and art is closing off from me. Emo-ing. Gloom and doom for me I suppose. Nothing seem interesting to me any more.

Doomsday has come and gone, leaving its victims both fallen and standing behind in its burning wake. Like the Legion of Chaos, it prefers to take what it had and retreat, bidding its time to strike again. As for me, I think I would be the victim that is staggering, trying to get up.
For me, these two days had been quite a nervewrecking time for me, the two events being what I fear the most: my BTT, or basic theory test, and my results for the sem 2. O.O"
Luckily, I managed to pass not just one, but both the events, bringing my endless worries to an end, a brief period of peace in my mind.
Anyway, for my progress to my driving licence, I had gotten my FTT date and my PDL, which enables me to take pratical driving lessons from now on.
Couldnt wait for the day I get my driving licence. =P

Yikes....long time since I had my last post up; kinda forgot I had a blog in the first place. xD
Ah...pretty much nothing's out of ordinary cropped up in the past few weeks I had: I am having my holidays now; I finished my exams (or exam in my case lol), and I'm now jobless and looking. There...that wraps up my current state of life now pretty well I think. =x
I'm currently thinking of making a Tshirt design to help burn some time and yup, I had no luck in creating one I liked so far...anybody got any ideas or even better yet, plan to help me out? haha

You know you play too much DOTA when:
1. Before you sleep, you don’t count sheep. You count creep kills.
2. When your girlfriend says to you ” You are my bf “, you wonder why she is calling you a battlefury.
3. When all your java code which is supposed to reference a variable named ‘gs’ (i.e. government securities ) accidentally got refactored to reference ‘gg’.
4. Whenever you wait for your gf, you wonder if 30 minutes is quick enough for a game at the LAN shop.
5. When you buy a new high resolution super big monitor, the first thing your friends ask you is whether you zoomed in to check CM, Drow and Lina out.
6. You put bottles of water on a chicken, expecting that it will bring it to you when you're thirsty.
7. When you and your friends go to the theater to watch "the hills have eyes" and right in the first part of the movie you and your friends shout "FIRST BLOOD!" and "TRIPLE KILL!"
8. When you spend over 700 bucks in a 5day 'camp' in your local LAN shop.

Whoo~ Finished my exams (or should I say, exam) today, and I'm looking forward to some pretty 'boring' days ahead of me. =P My thermodynamics exam...got through quite okay; kept forgeting how to do the questions when I've done the exact same thing for the past 2 days =.= Lol, moving on from the exam...had to go straight back home after the exam; I'm down for active 'accompanying duty' with my parents to pray for luck at a temple. Almost dozed off while waiting for the queue to reach my family; I took my parent's car keys and slept in the car while waiting haha. Went home at around 3-4 pm.
Hmm....long time didnt blog le lol; used to feel pretty down during the blank period I didnt post. xD

Hmm...long time since I last posted; things are pretty uneventful here, even the Chinese New Year's seemed pretty quiet to me. Maybe I'm the one who is banged out of order here, but...ahh, nevermind. I read my zodiac horoscope for the year and got kinda worried: it seems to say that the Horse zodiacs will not have much luck this year...hope the fengshui shifus are wrong though. Lol...sorry, but I seem pretty emo-istic today.
I think I'd either find something to do soon, or land my butt in one of the ccas, cuz the lack movement recently is driving me up the wall. =.=
Yikes...better end this post early, or I'll sound like a raving psycho. :x

Today is just a typical day for me I guess...woke up pretty late today; need to take a taxi to avoid being, like, 1hr late. Reached school at about 10.10am, but spent almost 20 min finding for the damn class: I forgot which class to go to. LOL =.= Gave up in the end and was saved by sms-ing my friend to ask. =P I almost cracked during the first half of the workshop; I cant seem to weld the thing properly...almost wanted to leave the class there and then. Luckily, I managed to get the hang of it at the second half...dunno why also. Haha....went home at about 6 plus ba...nothing much to do also :X

Today's yet another boring and hectic day (can these two be even together?) i guess. Woke up at about 8am...pretty sleepy still due to me sleeping at 5am this morning. Lol...lemme do the fast forward thing again so people wont fall asleep reading: Woke up, did the usual morning routines, went to school, bag strap broke halfway while i just left the bus (I must rmb to get a new bag sometime), rushed back home to dump the my stuff to another spare bag i kept in case, wasted half an hour of my useless life trying to flag down a taxi, gave up and took a bus instead, crashed into my class exactly halfway through my lecture (I was uber late -.-)......*phew* that's one long sentence i have there. Haha

The lecture is, as always, ridiculusly boring in my opinion...but that might be due to me having absolute zero knowledge of thermodynamics since day one. =x

Engineering drawing is the killer main course; the coup de grâce for the day...we are told to draw this....this DAMNED UNHOLY PEICE OF TAINTED JUNK THAT SHOULD BE OUTLAWED AND BANNED FROM THE REALM OF ENGINEERING DRAWING FOR A LONG TIME TO COME.....yikes, pardon my...outburst, I'm pretty much still fustrated at the given assignment today. We are told to draw the assembly of a cylinder relief valve, which basically is a cylindrical pressure relief valve that releases pressure from the system when it gets too high. The process of me drawing the thing is....very bad, to say at least. Made and corrected so many mistakes throughout the entire thing I simply gave up changing some at the end. =.=

VERDICT OF THE DAY:

-ENGINEERING DRAWING IS HARMFUL TO YOUR MIND AS IT CAUSES DIRECT IRREPARABLE STRESS AND AGONY IN SEVERE QUANTITIES TO THE VICTIM-

Ah yes...I forgot to put up yesterday's post, so I think I'll just give a quick rundown of events that happened:

Went to poly marina, stoned for the lecture part of the lesson, got a rope test for the second half, breezed through that; it was pretty easy. Went back home after that. (short, simple and sweet isnt it? =x)

Arghh...didn't post anything for pretty long now; might be due to the fact there's nothing much to write about. =.= Anyway, lemme bring up the events from friday onwards...

Friday, 16-17th Jan

School's pretty much the same as always; sleep, slack, talk and wait a imba-ish 5-6 hours for the thermodynamics practical. Thank goodness that's the final practical lesson for the sem. Lol. Fast forward: Finished practical, went home, took short nap, got woken up by call from my bro, bathed, and went to Prabhu's house to meet up with him and my bro first, chill out at his house, went down for dinner, took a bus to zouk. Hmm...met up with Mexcel, Roy, Alex and a group of friends there. I CAN FINALLY USE MY OWN IC TO ENTER!! =x Clubbing is still pretty fun for me...music's good, drinks' good, and the atmosphere's great. =P Didnt get high this time again though. Lol...kinda make me want to see what's my limit...and what'll i do after I went over my limit. Will I keep my head? Haha...Anyway, here's a pic from the event...mabbe will update later if I get more pics.

Took a cab with Alex and Prabhu at 4-5am. Dropped Prabhu off at his house before going to Alex's house; I needed to burn some time somewhere before I can go back to my own. =x Went back to my home at around 6.30am. Totally burnt out when I got home; just slept all the way through to 12-1 before I can go around doing my own stuff. Definately will go for another one in near future. (Very near, I hope. Lol)

Hmm...nothing much happened afterwards i guess, so I dont think I will post it up. Haha

SUCCESS! Managed to drag my group's presentation from a measly 6 slides to a grand total of...10! Lol, kinda pathetic, i know, but I'm desperate there. I mean...even with the hastily 'updated' presentation, half of the time my group's just standing there doing nothing, and the other half is spent on us saying, like, one sentence each? haha... =.=
Spent the better half of the day having dinner with my family at Sakura, tampanies safra branch. Lol...they wanted to have a 'b'day dinner' with me earlier, cuz they are afraid I might be too late or something tomorrow.
Anyway, my boss mei have been nagging at me to advertise her blogshop for her, so here it is: http://shopaholious.blogspot.com/ . Haven't really browse through it myself, so I couldn't judge. Ouch...today's engineering drawing is a killer; almost drove me half-mad when i redrew the damn thing for, like, 3 times. Feel like tearing the blasted paper into a gazillion pieces if I didnt have to hand it in. Lol, my bad if this sounded like some crazy guy ranting...but, hey, its a good way to destress right? =P
Kinda busy trying to think up of more ways to drag the Character Development (who the hell in the right mind thought of making this module? -.-) presentation longer...doubt that it would last more than 30 seconds from the looks of it now. Any ideas? lol

Another boring day to my li'l never changing life. =.= Sat thru a whole 3 hrs 'listening' to the basic safety training teacher 'blah blah'-ing away, chipping away precious seconds of my life that could be used in err...more 'constructive' activities (aka wholesome laptop time). Lol...they should just ditch the lessons unless its practical lessons. I'm sure it would be alot more fun. ^^

Phew....just played, like, 3 hrs of basketball with a few of my friends. Dead tired now. Lol...we played among ourselves in 3v3 matches. Today didnt have anything interesting happening...just usual stuff like sleep, eat, surfing the net. =.= Another reason why i didnt usually blog. Dunno why I suddenly feel like starting a blog...too bored I guess. Lol...Anyway, I would try to get this thing up and running within this week I hope. Anyway, this post is basically a run-down of my life starting from the night of New Year's eve, 31st December.

31st December

Was pretty excited that day...cuz its gonna be my very 1st night going to a club, haha. Yup, I'm your very own 'virgin clubber', from what a friend of mine said. Nothing interesting happened in the day, save for usual stuff like school (they should ban schools from operating in 31st dec!), and my big mistake of accepting my brother's invite to have basketball with a group of friends. Played from 2 to about 5 or 6pm before we went back home, showered, changed and immediately went out to pick up my brother's girlfriend before meeting up with a friend of ours. My heart was hammering like mad as we queued up for the tickets; I was pretty nervous. Anyway, to cut the long story short (I hope), clubbing is downright amazing! haha...the music pounding through the speakers, the mood and atmosphere, the drinks (although I kept thinking the drinks dont have enough 'kick' lol). Flaming lambogini and long island tea are great. We clubbed till about 6 the next morning before heading home. Here are some pictures we took:
